Luckily, we’re one of the first organisations to be able to discover our Adaptability (AQ) or adaptability quotient in order to make sure we’re ready for the changes coming everyone’s way. 

 

As part of the very first beta program we have managed to secure a limited number of AQ profile assessments. 

 

The assessment takes around 20 minutes to complete. It’s engaging with a chatbot called Aida to guide you through. 

 

Whilst it is optional, if you do want to complete the assessment, we recommend doing it within 48 hours so we can ensure we don’t miss out on this opportunity!

As a company we won’t see your answers, they are totally private. We only see anonymised team results. However, you will get an individual report, which will explain your AQ profile and score, your adaption style, and how ready you might be for change.

We are delighted to have secured a place to be one of the first organisations to discover our adaptability quotient (AQ). Our planet, society and industry is going through a lot of changes, with more coming at an accelerated rate, and we want to be ready for them, and help you be ready for them too.

We’re welcoming (a number of/you/250 of our team) to complete an AQ profile  assessment. It takes around 20 minutes. It’s engaging, gaining your information via a simple chatbot interface. You will get an individual report as soon as you complete it (your results are anonymised so we cannot see them). Why Adaptability?

 

 

Adaptability has been described as the new competitive advantage by Harvard Business Review, for both organisations and individuals. In the future, the difference between surviving and thriving will be determined not by IQ (Intelligence Quotient) or EQ (Emotional Intelligence), but by those with the greatest adaptability. Measuring our adaptability not only helps us determine where we are as an organisation in regards to innovation, but will help us all to grow and develop. 

 

 

How does it work?

 

 

Using a combination of existing and new research, focused on behavioural science, psychology and business challenges. We have developed a unique algorithm and scoring matrix, aided by AI, to create an accurate model of human adaptability. Our research is headed up by Nicolas Deuschel PhD, Professor at University Carlos III in Madrid and his team. We measure adaptability across three core dimensions (ACE): Ability (your adaptability skills), your Character (the innate aspects of Self that determine the ways in which you may approach adapting), and Environment (how your environment can help or hinder your adaption). Together with twelve sub-dimensions, such as Grit, Resilience, Mindset, and Learning Drive, we can give an accurate picture of where you are in terms of your AQ journey. 

 

 

How is this different to other surveys?

 

 

The AQ assessment is not a survey. It’s a more human and responsive conversation, and remember we are at the very early stages, beta 1 on our journey! Unlike a personality test that measures a fixed aspect of the Self, this is a study of an emerging field of mindsets and behaviours, one we feel is vital in the climate of accelerating change we are seeing in the world. We thank you for your contribution in helping us validate our science and model early, ensuring we provide the most valuable insights to transform the way we can all better navigate rapid change.

 

 

How can AQ help with our growth and development?

 

 

Understanding how employees might respond to change allows teams  to better mitigate risk, helping establish an open dialogue towards change, with data behind how organisations can best navigate the complexities of transformation programs. Identifying those who would benefit from additional support and who might adapt to change more rapidly. This is the beginning of a journey to uncovering the most valuable assets, characteristics, and mindsets to ensure our future is bigger, brighter and better than our collective pasts.

 

 

What is the next step, post-assessment?

 

 

You are playing an invaluable role to help improve and update our beta – from the UX, to which insights provide the most valuable! Each organisation in our beta 1 program will then qualify for the same number of free assessments for the same users at our next assessment iteration. This will help us to ensure consistency in our data models as they improve. We are also looking to collaborate, with your help and feedback in our next phase developing a digitised coaching, training, and mentor bot. This bot will be personalised to you and there on-demand to help you level up and develop each of the core components of adaptability; think of a combination of Iron Man’s Jarvis and The Matrix plugin designed to hack your resilience, and you will be in the space we are aiming for :)!

 

We believe AQ will become a fundamental building block in improving wellbeing, performance, and lead to individual and organisational success.
